Hedberg played well last week posting a 1.64 GAA and .928 SV% but his record was still only 1-1-1. This will likely be Hedberg's last start as the Devils #1 goalie. Brodeur will probably dress as the backup tomorrow and might start Thursday.

Hedberg continues to struggle in the absence of Martin Brodeur, however he is the Devils only other option and will continue to see starts. He gets the nod tonight vs. Winnipeg who he lost 4-2 and 3-1 to in late February. Hedberg can't be relied on for fantasy starts given his recent performances.

This is shocking after Hedberg has lost his last six appearances and let in some soft goals last night. However Devils coach Peter DeBoer says "Hedberg has unfairly taken the blame for recent losses". The 39 year-old netminder will be in tough again tonight against Steven Stamkos and the Lightning.
Hedberg has lost five straight games with a 3.78 GAA and .853 SV%. He has struggled while filling in for Brodeur, but has a chance to get back in the win column against the Maple Leafs tomorrow.
