Devils coach Pete DeBoer said center Patrik Elias (flu) and defenseman Henrik Tallinder (back spasms) are both feeling better, but he doesn’t know yet whether either will be available for Friday’s game against Washington.
Elias is just sick and should only miss one more game at most. The former captain scored 13 goals and 29 points in 32 games and will be replaced by Travis Zajac.
