Rinne has lost seven straight starts and has been a fantasy bust this season. He went 33-22-9 with a 2.12 GAA and .930 SV% in 2010-11 and 43-18-8 with a 2.39 GAA and .923 SV% last season. He has fallen to 14-16-8 with 2.42 GAA and .911 SV% this season, however he has a great matchup tonight. You should be able to squeeze one more win out of him tonight.

Rinne has been a workhorse this season. If Trotz follows through on his comments, Rinne will have started 45 of 46 games for the Preds. His numbers are down a bit this year and he has a tough matchup against the Blues.

Predators head coach Barry Trotz announced yesterday that Rinne will very likely start every game for the rest of the season. He played very well yesterday, stopping 29 of 30 shots he faced. However the Preds offense couldn't get one passed Ray Emery and lost 1-0. Rinne will face the Hawks again today.

Rinne allowed one goal on 26 shots in a 3-1 win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. He will face Sergei Bobrovsky and the new look Blue Jackets tonight. Nashville sits just one point out of the playoffs so they need a big game out of Rinne.
