Kostitsyn gets back into the lineup for the first time since November 29th. The Bellarussian forward registered only three points in the month of November -- all assists and in the same game.
Kostitsyn will miss his fifth game this season. Since returning from his first injury, the scoring winger only registered three assists in 11 games. Even worse, those three assists were all over one game.
Coach Barry Trotz said forward Sergei Kostitsyn (lower body) will be in tonight against Anaheim.
Kostitsyn returns from a lower-body injury and should play a prominent role in tonight's lineup. Through 10 games the Bellarussian scored three goals and eight points. Start him if you got him...
A quick update from the morning skate. Kevin Klein (ankle) and Sergei Kostitsyn (lower body muscle) are on the ice. Both didn’t play in Nashville’s Saturday game against San Jose.
Both players will be a game-time decision tonight so check back for a further update. Considering most rosters will be frozen by 7PM EST, it may be a better option to bench both skaters.
Both Kevin Klein (ankle) and Sergei Kostitsyn (lower body muscle issue) are considered game-time decisions.
Kostitsyn scored three goals and eight points through his first nine before the injury. Since then he has only played one game in which he was rendered ineffective with no shots or points.
Today's practice lines: 33-15-27, 74-12-10, 25-11-22, 18-5-24-23 #Preds

Kostitsyn is scheduled to miss his second consecutive game. Before his injury he scored three goals and eight points over nine games. With Nick Spaling and now Mike Fisher both injured, the Preds could use a quick return from their scoring winger.

Kostitsyn and Erat both working with the team at the morning skate.
Kostitsyn is listed as questionable for tonight's game. Through his first nine games this season, the BellaRussian scored three goals and eight points.
Trotz then put Sergei Kostitsyn on Smith’s spot. Colin Wilson is the third player on Legwand’s line.
Sounds like coach Barry Trotz is loading up his top scoring line due to the various injuries. Through his first three games the talented Bellarussian holds three assists with a minus-1 rating. Look for him to approach his totals of last season of 23 goals and 57 points.
Forward Sergei Kostitsyn did not practice Wednesday, though I did see him walking around the Predators’ training facility at Centennial Sportsplex. Coach Barry Trotz said Kostitsyn had a “maintenance day” for an “upper-body tweak” and didn’t sound worried that the forward would miss any time.
Fresh off a 23-goal, 50-point campaign, Kostitsyn is a go-to scorer on the Preds. Expect him to at least hit those totals in his second full season under coach Barry Trotz.
