Goc has been sidelined since November 15th with a concussion. However, stepping back on the ice is a step in the right direction. The Panthers are hoping he comes back and contributes in the new year.

() Dineen confirmed Thursday that the Panthers weren't expecting center Marcel Goc back anytime soon. The Panthers didn't think the concussion he suffered Nov. 15 at Dallas was too serious at the time. He has now already missed a month.
Goc should not be owned in any fantasy hockey league at this point. The German forward has only two goals through 17 games and remains out indefinitely.

There are certainly better options than a snakebitten third line center with no timetable for a return.
