This will be the first time that Erat has dressed since demanding a trade earlier in the week. It has been a tough season for the 32-year-old who has tallied just six assists in 23 games. He is expected to dress on the fourth line with Michael Latta being sent down this morning.
Erat, who has no points through seven games is jumping from the fourth line, where he was averaging a career-low 8:46 minutes a game, to the second line. He will play with Brooks Laich and Troy Brouwer.
Erat only missed one game after taking a puck to the foot in practice that caused some swelling. Erat has 2 G and 2 A in 7 games this season, which unfortunately for the Predators is leading the team. The Preds are struggling to score so getting Erat back can only help.
