The Capitals gave up a big prospect to get Erat so the fact that he is going to miss an extended period of time is not what Washington had in mind. He will miss his third straight game tomorrow.

Erat suffered an apparent left leg injurySaturday and will miss his second straight game.

Erat suffered lower body injury, not concussion, on Gudbranson hit, Oates said. He has no points since being acquired by the Caps on the April 3rd trade deadline.
