Ellis (upper-body) is expected to return to the Predators lineup on Tuesday.
Ellis has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury, but was on the ice for Monday’s practice and Tuesday’s morning skate, so he should be back in the lineup tonight vs. St. Louis. Ellis will skate with Roman Josi and comes in with nine points (3G / 6A) in 19 games this season.
Ellis (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.
Ellis has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury, but he practiced on Monday and skated in the Predators’ optional morning skate. Monitor Ellis’ status during the pre-game warmups and expect Stefan Elliott to be scratched if he can play.
Ellis (upper-body) did not skate this morning; not expected to play vs. Pittsburgh.
Ellis left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not skate this morning, so do not expect to see him suit up tonight. The Predators have recalled Stefan Elliott from Milwaukee (AHL) to take Ellis’ spot in the lineup.
Ellis (lower-body) returned to practice on Wednesday.
Ellis missed Tuesday’s game vs. Tampa Bay, but he was back at practice this afternoon and was skating with his usual partner Mattias Ekholm, which suggests that he could be back in the lineup on Thursday vs. Anaheim.
Ellis suffered a knee injury while blocking a shot on the weekend and he missed both Monday’s practice and Tuesday’s morning skate. Look for Viktor Bartley to take Ellis’ spot in the lineup on Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.
Ellis suffered a knee injury by blocking a shot on Saturday and the injury kept him off of the ice on Monday. This is not a good sign that Ellis will be available for Tuesday’s meeting with the Lightning. If Ellis is unable to play look for Victor Bartley to make his season debut.
Ellis (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.
Ellis was in the Predators morning skate, but the Predators will evaluate him this afternoon before making a decision on his status for tonight’s game. Ellis has missed the last three games while the Predators take things slow with his return.
Ellis (lower-body) will not play Tuesday vs. the Devils.
The Predators said they want to be cautious with Ellis, which is why he was held out of Saturday’s game and why he will not play tonight vs. the Devils. He remains day-to-day until the Predators believe he is 100%.
Ellis (lower-body) has been upgraded to day-to-day; questionable for Thursday.
Ellis practiced yesterday and skated with Seth Jones in today’s morning skate, so it looks like he could be back in the lineup tonight. There is no official word on his status, but expect coach Laviolette to update Ellis’ status shortly.
Ellis (lower-body) will be back in the lineup in 1-2 weeks.
Predators GM David Poile said he expected to have Ellis back in the lineup in the last week of February or the first week of March. Ellis, who has been out since January 8th, has taken a little longer than expected, but he is finally making some progress according to Poile. With the addition of Cody Franson over the weekend, the Predators blue line is going to look really scary when Ellis returns.
