#Habs announce they have signed Francis Boullion to a 1-year contract extension. Boullion was set to become a UFA this summer.

Bouillon will further stabilize the blue line. The native New Yorker has only six assists on the season but has been very sturdy on the defensive side of things.

In terms of tonight’s game, the Predators will likely be without defenseman Francis Bouillon and forward Jerred Smithson. Both are nursing “upper body” injuries. Coach Barry Trotz said both are close to being healthy, but he wanted to give them a little more time to make sure they were 100 percent.
Bouillon won't play tonight but remains a possibility for the rest of the week. The native New Yorker has only six assists on the season but has been very sturdy on the defensive side of things.

No word on who he replaces but it could be Jack Hillen. The rugged defender only registered two assists while playing in the top four with power play duties.

EDMONTON, Alberta Francis Bouillon returned to Nashville to receive treatment for his ailing groin, according to Nashville Coach Barry Trotz.
Even though Bouillon traveled back to Nashville, the team will remain on the road for three more games. The rugged defender only registered two assists while playing in the top four with power play duties. Expect Roman Josi to remain in the lineup for the time being.

Defenseman Francis Bouillon and forward Mike Fisher were taking part in drills with the rest of the squad for the first time since training camp opened in mid-September. Both had been skating on their own all camp. Bouillon has been out since suffering a concussion Jan. 16 at Chicago.
