The Wild acquired Ryan White, Martin Hanzal and a 2017 fourth round pick from the Coyotes for Grayson Downing, 2017 first round pick, 2018 second round pick and a conditional fourth round pick.
The Wild have had a revolving door on their fourth line all season, but White could fill out the spot permanently going forward. The rugged winger has seven goals and eight assists in 46 games with the Coyotes.
The Coyotes inked Ryan White to a one-year contract on Friday.
After spending two years with the Flyers, White moves on to the Coyotes where he will serve as a fourth liner. He had a career-high 11 goals and 101 PIMS last season but isn’t a fantasy relevant forward.
White will miss 2-4 weeks with a right shoulder injury.
White will missed 2-4 weeks after suffering an upper-body injury in Saturday’s win in Carolina. White is a perennial fourth liner, so his fantasy value is limited at best. He had one goal and two assists in 17 games this season. Look for Brayden Schenn to be back in the lineup for White on Tuesday.
The Flyers have recalled Ryan White from Lehigh Valley (AHL).
White, 26, has not recorded a point in three games with Lehigh Valley this season. He had six points (2G / 4A) in 52 games with the Canadiens last season. His recall is likely related to Scott Laughton’s injury, the Flyers were forced to dress seven defensemen on Saturday. White could make his Flyers debut on Tuesday.
The Flyers have signed Ryan White to a one-year, two-way deal.
White, 26, had been with the Canadiens since they selected him in the third round (66th overall) in the 2006 draft. He played 52 games with the Habs last season, racking up just six points (2G / 4A). He has just five goals and 12 assists in 141 career NHL games, so do not expect him to have any fantasy impact with his new team.
