Weber has proven to be a serviceable NHL defenceman since being drafted in 2007. However, he has found himself in a log jam on the blueline in Vancouver, but could be claimed before noon tomorrow by a team lacking D depth.
We knew Tinordi was going to play today but is was unknown who was going to come out. It will be Weber who has been paired with Andrei Markov. We'll have to see if Tinordi plays with Markov or if someone else is moved up.
Weber and Kaberle are rotating in on right side of Bouillon on #Habs third D pair.
Weber has been out with a knee injury and has only played in two games this season. The last was on March 7th, but he only played 7:35 and was back in the dressing room. It sounds like Weber will play over Kaberle tomorrow.
Weber may have been injured last night which is holding him out of practice. The Swiss d-man has four goals and 15 points in 43 games. Look for Rafael Diaz to reenter the lineup should Weber miss significant playing time.
