The Wild landed forwards Nick Palmieri and Stephane Veilleux, defenseman Kurtis Foster, a second round pick in 2012 and a conditional third round pick in 2013 from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for defenseman Marek Zidlicky.
Zidlicky moves to a team filled with his fellow countrymates. Look for the Devils to initially try him out on the top power play unit.
Zidlicky is unhappy, something I learned this morning when the veteran defenseman came looking for me to offer his opinion on the fact that tonight against his former team, the Nashville Predators, he’ll be scratched for a third consecutive game.
Zidlicky once again is a healthy scratch and could be traded for his recent outburst. The offensive defenseman has only 11 assists through 34 games.
Zidlicky last played on November 15th but is pretty close to drawing back in. Prior to getting hurt, he scored six assists in 18 games. Expect him to help out the power play.
Yeo said, that concussed players Guillaume Latendresse and Marek Zidlicky are feeling better and are back in Minnesota skating daily. It's just a matter of conditioning because neither player has played in a long time.
Good news for both players. Expect them to return at some point during this calendar month.
Zidlicky last played on November 15th and is still looking for his first goal of the season after 18 games. Expect him to get back into the lineup within the next few games.
Defenseman Marek Zidlicky, sidelined by a concussion, skated on his own Wednesday but experienced recurring symptoms and did not skate Thursday.
Out since November 15th, Zidlicky continues to show no improvement from his post-concussion syndrome. At this point keep him on IR or explore better options if you lack the roster space.
Zidlicky said he has a headache, probably won't play tomorrow, has not yer taken concussion test.
Not a good sign for the team's number one defender. Prior to getting hurt his six assists and points led all of the team's defensemen. Check back for a further update and keep him out of your lineup.
The defenseman got his 'bell rung,' and if it's a concussion, it'll be the third time in the past five games that a Wild player has suffered such an injury.
The Wild continue to roll despite their injuries. Check back for a further update on their clear-cut number one.
