Prosser replaced Christian Folin in the lineup for the last two games, but will come back out of the lineup tonight vs. the Senators. Prosser played just 7:39 TOI on Tuesday and has just one goal and four assists in 37 games this season.
Prosser has only appeared in one game this season and has been a healthy scratch for the last three contests. There is no word on who will be coming out of the lineup, but that should be revealed in Saturday’s morning skate.
Clayton Stoner will miss tonight’s game with a lower-body injury. Nate Prosser will play for the first time in 14 games (Nov. 25).
“He’s such a great pro," said head coach Mike Yeo. "He’s done this. It’s not an easy job, a lot of guys can’t do it,” but he just wants Prosser to come in and “be effective in his game, provide a spark,” compete hard and defend hard.” Prosser said just that, that he plans to flip the switch at the opening faceoff and be tough to play against. Prosser has two assists in 14 games.
