On Thursday night, multiple sources confirmed the Jets have agreed to terms with centre Kyle Wellwood on a one-year, one-way deal worth $700,000.
Wellwood posted five goals and 13 points through 35 games with the San Jose Sharks, helping them to solidify their third line. He will battle Tim Stapleton and Jim Slater for a checking line role down the middle.
