Marty Reasoner left the game after blocking a shot on his first shift of the second period (after 4:36 TOI), so there is a chance injury will add to fatigue in the challenges that Glendale will pose. Jack Capuano said afterward it is a broken thumb.
The fourth line center will be replaced by Jay Pandolfo tonight.

Reasoner has now been scratched for the last three games. He leads the team with a minus-13 rating and holds no fantasy hockey value whatsoever.

Andrew MacDonald, hip, and Marty Reasoner, knee, are both not skating for the Islanders today according to Arthur Staple of Newsday.
The team is believed to be taking a cautious approach with both.

Free agent pick up Marty Reasoner is also not skating today due to a knee injury.
No word on the extent of his injury but Reasoner figures to center the fourth line regardless.

The Islanders have locked him up as a bottom-six replacement for -- and upgrade over -- Zenon Konopka. Reportedly for two years, $2.5 million (or $2.7 million, according to Katie Strang).
