Alain Vigneault said Chris Higgins is taking antibiotics and could skate today if he reacts well.
Higgins is still not travelling with the team due to the infection. Hopefully the secondary scorer will get back on the ice in a week or two.

Higgins has a swollen hand. Fear is he has another staph infection. Medical thinks he has same virus. He is not travelling.
Sounds like Higgins will miss at least tomorrow's game. The Canucks will need to recall another forward or dress seven defensemen.
