The Panthers signed Colton Sceviour to a two-year contract.
Sceviour, 27, has been with the Stars since he was drafted 112th overall in 2007. During that time he has amassed 62 points (28G / 34A) in 170 career NHL games and he’ll bring that experience to the Panthers’ bottom-6 in 2016-17.

Sceviour has scored three goals with one assist in eight games with the Stars this season. While in Texas he has recorded 32 goals and 31 assists (63 points) in 54 games. His 32 goals leads the AHL while 63 points sits second on Texas and third in the AHL. He could stay with the Stars for awhile with Rich Peverley's future uncertain right now.

Sceviour could contribute to the Stars as a two-way forward capable of scoring on the third line. Not a reason to roster now but a name to keep in mind should the Stars surprise this season.
