The often-injured Huselius could certainly help a struggling Blue Jackets team. The veteran scored 14 goals and 23 points over 39 games last season.

We will continue to monitor his progress, including which line it looks like he'll be playing with. He posted 63 points in 74 games just two seasons ago so he does have fantasy potential.

Huselius said he'll begin motion and flexibility exercises in the coming days. He'll stay in Columbus to be close to team doctors during his rehabilitation.
Huselius will miss the beginning of the season but his recovery seems to be going according to plan. Expect him back at full speed by the middle of the year.

Blue Jackets left winger Kristian Huselius has suffered a torn pectoral muscle while lifting weights last weekend in Sweden, and will have surgery on Thursday in Columbus. He's expected to miss 4 to 6 months.

All indications are that Huselius will be 100 percent for the start of training camp as he enters the final year of his contract with the Blue Jackets.
