The Ducks have enough healthy forwards to not rush Parros back into the lineup. If you are relying on him for PIM, there may be better options for tonight.
Right wing George Parros continues to work out with the team but his timetable on a possible return remains the first or second week of December. Parros has been out of the lineup since Nov. 3 because of a torn retina suffered when hit by a deflected shot during a practice in Detroit.
Parros could be a spot play once healthy. Prior to getting hurt he fought three times in 11 games.
George Parros had laser surgery on his left eye this afternoon to correct a torn retina. Parros suffered the injury last Friday when he was hit with a deflected puck at the club’s practice in Detroit.
He is expected to make a full recovery and return to game action in approximately four weeks.
Don't expect Parros back in the lineup for the rest of the month. If you use him to stream PIM, it may be time to explore your short-term options.
