Mueller, listed as day-to-day, will return to the 23-man roster, replacing Desjardins, and Galiardi is eligible to return Friday and be available Saturday at Detroit.
Galiardi should return this weekend barring any setbacks. He scored eight goals and 14 points in 54 games before getting hurt.
Mueller (torso) and Galiardi (shoulder) practiced in orange no-contact sweaters. They are on injured reserve. The team has not sent anyone down to Lake Erie of the American Hockey League so Mueller and Galiardi might not rejoin the 23-man roster and play in Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Kings at the Pepsi Center.
Sounds like both players miss tomorrow's game. Galiardi scored eight goals and 14 points in 54 games before getting hurt.
