Skille suffered the shoulder injury on February 17th against the Flyers. He will undergo surgery and it will end his regular season. The Blue Jackets have had some crazy injury issues this season and Skille is the latest one to go down.
The Blue Jackets have activated Jack Skille (lower-body) from IR.
Skille has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury, but should be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Wild. He has recorded five goals and two assists for seven points with 16 penalty minutes in 35 games this season.

Skille, 27, suffered a lower body injury on January 9 against Toronto and is expected to miss two weeks from the time of the injury. They placed him IR to make room to recall Josh Anderson from Springfield (AHL).

Skille will miss “a couple of weeks, at least,” Richards said. He suffered the injury in the second or third period of last night’s game. He exited early in the third period and did not return. Left wing Corey Tropp will replace Skille in the lineup tonight vs. the New York Islanders. Jeremy Morin will move into Skille’s spot on the right side of the third line.

Skille, 26, has tallied two goals, two penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating in seven appearances with Columbus. He has also recorded two goals and one assist and a plus-1 rating in six games with Springfield.
Skille, who was recalled from Springfield (AHL) on Sunday and will dress tonight.
Brandon Dubinsky (foot) is out tonight, so Skille will get the call. Skille has has appeared in one game for the Blue Jackets this season. In six games with Springfield he tallied two goals and a single assist. He is not fantasy relevant, having scored just 20 goals and 49 points in 179 career NHL games.
