The Jets have placed Patrik Laine (concussion) on injured reserve.
Laine will miss his third straight game with a concussion and remains without a timetable for his return. Laine’s movement to IR created a roster spot too recall Julien Melchiori to be recalled from Manitoba (AHL).
Laine was crushed by Sabres’ defenseman Jake McCabe on Saturday and sustained a concussion, which will keep him sidelined indefinitely. The Jets did not release a timetable for Laine, so monitor his status on a day-to-day basis.
Laine left Saturday’s game with an undisclosed injury; will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
Laine was absolutely crushed by Sabres’ defenseman Jake McCabe during Saturday’s loss to Buffalo. Laine is likely being evaluated for a concussion and is considered questionable, if not doubtful to play Monday vs. the Flames.
Laine missed the morning skate, but is expected to play vs. Columbus.
Laine missed Wednesday’s practice and today’s morning skate, but head coach Paul Maurice said he is expected to be in the lineup tonight. Laine has had a great rookie campaign so far, scoring 19 goals and 11 assists (30 points) in 37 games.
