The Canadiens have sent Daniel Carr to St. John’s (AHL).
Carr appeared in the last three games, but will return to St. John’s with Alex Galchenyuk set to return to the lineup on Thursday. Carr has two goals and one assist in three games with the IceCaps this season.

Carr has not made it into the Canadiens’ lineup since October 15th. He picked up one assist in two games, but heads back to St. John’s (AHL) where he had 21 points (10G / 11A) in 24 games a season ago.
The Canadiens have signed Daniel Carr to a two-year deal worth $2.9 million ($1.45M AAV).
Carr, 24, played his first professional season with Hamilton (2014-15) but split his second year between the AHL and NHL. He had nine points (6G / 3A) in 23 games with Montreal and 21 points (10G / 11A) in 24 games with St. John’s (AHL). He will fight for a permanent roster spot in training camp.
