Miller (lower-body) will return to the Bruins’ lineup on Tuesday.
Miller has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, but will be back in tonight vs. the Red Wings. Miller has not produced offensively like the Bruins hoped, picking up just six points (3G / 3A) in 34 games this season.
The Bruins have recalled Colin Miller from Providence (AHL).
Miller, 23, has split his season between Boston and Providence. He has collected 15 points (3G / 12A) in 39 games with Boston and 12 points (4G / 8A) in 19 games with Providence. He will appear in his 40th NHL game of the season on Tuesday, replacing Zach Trotman.

Miller will be scratched on Saturday vs. the Red Wings because of a lower-body injury. With Miller out, Zach Trotman will get into the lineup and Kevan Miller is expected to move to the top pair with Zdeno Chara.
Colin Miller is expected to make his NHL debut on Saturday.
Miller, 22, came over in the Milan Lucic trade this summer and will make his NHL debut tonight vs. the Canadiens. Miller has a tonne of offensive ability on the blueline—he had 19 goals and 33 assists (52 points) in 70 games with Manchester (AHL) last season.
The Bruins have acquired Colin Miller, Martin Jones and the 13th overall pick from the Kings for Milan Lucic.
Miller, 22, led all Manchester (AHL) defensemen and finished second among all AHL blue liners with 52 points (19G / 33A) in 70 games this season. He is under-sized at 6-foot, 173 lbs, but the 2012 5th round pick has plenty of offensive upside that will help ease the Bruins loss of Dougie Hamilton, who was traded to the Flames earlier in the day.
