Domi is week-to-week with an upper-body injury; has been placed on IR.
Domi was hurt in Thursday’s game vs. the Flames and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with an upper-body injury. With Domi on IR, the Coyotes will have an even more difficult time finding offence. They have recalled Laurent Dauphin to take his spot on the roster.
Domi (upper-body) is questionable for Saturday’s game.
Domi left Thursday’s game vs. the Flames with an upper-body injury and missed Friday’s practice. Head coach Dave Tippet said he was not sure if Domi will be available for Saturday’s game, so monitor his status during Saturday afternoon.
Domi has officially made the Coyotes opening night roster.
Domi, 20, had just one assists, nine shots and a minus-2 rating in the preseason, but showed enough to crack the opening night roster after being sent home last year. The 2013 12th overall pick had 102 points (32G / 70A) in 57 games with London (OHL) last year.
The Coyotes have sent Max Domi back to London (OHL).
Domi, 19, is a dynamic offensive talent and had a lot of people believing that he would stick with the team this season. The Coyotes must feel that he will be better served with one more year of junior under his belt. He heads back to London where he has 73 goals and 107 assists (180 points) in 125 games over the last season. A huge boost for the Knights.
Max Domi still remains in the mix to make the Coyotes opening day roster.
Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett said if Domi makes the roster it’s going to be because he and General Manager Don Maloney believe Domi can contribute significantly. This means if he makes the team he will not be stuffed on the 4th line playing small minutes, he will likely skate amongst the top-6. Monitor Domi's status because if he makes the team he could be a great late-round pick or waiver wire addition.
