Girgensons (undisclosed) will not play Thursday vs. the Ducks.
Girgensons was reportedly banged up in the Sabres’ come-from-behind win over the Sharks on Tuesday and will not play tonight vs. the Ducks. With Girgensons out, the Sabres have recalled Derek Grant from Rochester (AHL).
Girgensons (upper-body) has been activated from IR; expected to play Tuesday.
Girgensons missed the last four games but will return to the lineup on Monday vs. the Rangers. Girgensons, who has just three goals and five assists in 40 games this season, will skate on the second line with Jack Eichel and Matt Moulson.

Girgensons missed Monday’s practice with an undisclosed injury and could miss Tuesday’s game vs. the Stars. Girgensons was hit hard on Saturday which is likely the reason for today’s absence. Monitor his status on Tuesday morning, but his two points in 17 games has him well off of the fantasy radar right now.
Girgensons (foot) is out indefinitely, but expected to return this season.
Originally head coach Ted Nolan was worried that Girgensons would miss the remainder of the season. He will miss a lengthy period of time, but the Sabres are hopeful that he will return before the end of the season.

It did not appear that Girgensons was able to put any weight on the foot, which is obviously not a good sign. Coach Ted Nolan is concerned that Girgensons injury could end his season, but he will await the official word from the Sabres medical staff.
Girgensons left Thursday's contest after playing just 6:53 and did not return. It was a good win for the Sabres, but they lost Girgensons and winger Chris Stewart in the process. They likely will not recall anyone from Rochester (AHL) and Zenon Konopka will silde into the lineup for Girgensons and Cory Conacher for Stewart.
