The Flyers have recalled Nick Cousins from Lehigh Valley (AHL).
Cousins, 22, has 18 points (5G / 13A) in 15 games with Lehigh Valley this season. He will make his season debut on Friday, replacing Taylor Leier, who was sent down. He will centre the fourth line with Colin McDonald and Scott Laughton on his wings.
Nick Cousins, one of the draft picks the Flyers obtained from the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Jeff Carter trade last summer, has agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Flyers on Monday.
Cousins is the latest hard-nosed forward to come up through the Flyers' system. He scored 35 goals and 88 points in 65 games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
