Getzlaf (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.
Getzlaf has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but took part in the morning skate and will be a game-time decision tonight vs. the Stars. Monitor his status when pre-game warmups start at 9:30 p.m. ET, but it looks like he should draw back in.
Despite skating for the last two days, Getzlaf will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. the Wild. It will be the third straight game that he has missed, but he will target Tuesday vs. the Stars as a possible return.
Getzlaf skated on his own prior to the Ducks’ morning skate on Friday, but will not play vs. Anaheim. This will be the second straight game that Getzlaf has missed after being a surprise late scratch from Wednesday’s game vs. the Penguins. With Getzlaf out, Rickard Rakell will centre the Ducks’ top line.
Getzlaf (upper-body) is expected to return to the Ducks' lineup on Friday.
Getzlaf missed Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury, but took part in the pre-game skate and is expected to play barring a setback. Getzlaf is off to a much-better start than last year, having picked up eight points (1G / 7A) in seven games.
Getzlaf (lower-body) was a late scratch on Thursday; hopeful to play on Saturday.
There was no indication that Getzlaf wouldn’t be available for Thursday’s game in Arizona, but he was a late scratch, which means that Stefan Noesen will draw into the lineup. Getzlaf’s injury is not serious, so he is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday afternoon.
