Pinizzotto was very close to recovering and likely would have forced a roster move. Instead an Andrew Alberts hit left him reeling and likely set back.

AV - there is a good chance that Aaron Rome and Steve Pinizzotto will travel with the Canucks on their trip next week.
Both players have yet to make their 2011-2012 debut with the team. Either could draw into the lineup but aren't guaranteed roster spots as depth players.

Pinizotto's injury will clear a role for Aaron Volpatti or Mike Duco. The center scored 17 goals and 42 points last season with the Hershey Bears while adding 178 PIM. His role would likely be more defensive with his fantasy hockey value centered around his penalty totals.
