The 24-year-old Czech was skating lightly and appeared to be testing out the injury, which based on his movements could possibly a groin or hip problem.
According to reports, Neuvirth did not look comfortable during today's skate and is not expected to begin the playoffs. He may be an option later in the series if healthy.

Neuvirth didn't make the trip to NY with the #Caps but he took part in an off-ice workout today at KCI, according to a team spokesman.
The Caps remain hopeful that Neuvirth can return in the postseason. The young netminder doing any physical activity is the first step.

Caps goaltender Michal Neuvirth left Thursday night’s game against the Florida Panthers with 5:39 gone in the second period with what appears to be a left leg or groin injury.
Not good for the Caps who are already without starting goalie Tomas Vokoun. No word on how much playing time Neuvirth will miss but lower-body injuries are not good news for a netminder.

Michal Neuvirth took a shot to his neck or collarbone area about 15 minutes into the morning skate and was attended to by one of the team's athletic trainers. Neuvirth remained on the ice.
Neuvirth took a stinger during today's practice but managed to stay on the ice. He won't miss any playing time, especially with Tomas Vokoun and Braden Holtby as options.
