Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse in Washington, this suspension hits. Green has been relatively useless since returning from injury, scoring three goals and six points in 20 games.
Green travelling with the team makes him an option to play on the road trip. He last played on January 7th and has only drew into 10 games this season which means he should be rusty.

Green getting back on the ice is a good sign. However, he likely remains out until March as he recovers from both a groin injury and sports hernia surgery.
But on Monday, Green did not skate. It was the third straight day he was not on the ice, a Caps spokesman said. It's unclear whether this represents a setback.
