Samuelsson not skating today and is out. He left midway through practice Monday.

Samuelsson played 11:48, recorded two shots and was a minus-1 in Game 3. He will shift to the first line with Justin Abdelkader getting suspended.

Samuelsson in tonight for sure. Will play with Eaves and Emmerton.
This means Todd Bertuzzi is out. Samuelsson has been out almost all season having played in just four games. He will skate on the Red Wings fourth line as well as play the point on the second power-play unit.

Samuelsson is a game-time decision. He will take warmups before Babcock decides if he is in or not.
Babcock said the reason Samuelsson is possible for tonight is that someone is hurting and not be able to play.

Samuelsson cleared to return. Babcock not ready to play him.
Samuelsson has returned and been re-injured in the first game twice this season. He has had a really difficult time staying healthy only playing in four games this season.

Holland said Samuelsson is having tests tomorrow. They don't think it's anything more than a day to day injury
Samuelsson is not fantasy relevant because he can't stay healthy. This was his first game back and he is already back on the shelf it looks like.

Wings said Samuelsson has upper body injury and will not return to game.
Samuelsson was playing in his first game in over a month and was injured again. He has had a hard time staying healthy this season. The Red Wings were getting spanked so maybe they just kept him out as a precaution.

Samuelsson (finger) has only appeared in three games this season in his return to the Red Wings. He will be in the lineup today when the Wings take on the Blackhawks.

Samuelsson practicing like he intends to play tomorrow. if he does they'll likely send Nyquist down to clear a spot.

RedWings anticipate having F Mikael Samuelsson (finger) ready for next Sunday's game against Chicago.
Samuelsson has played in only 3 games this season due to a groin injury and then a fractured finger. He will likely see time on the point on one of the Red Wings PP units when he does return.

Per Ken Holland, #RedWings F Mikael Samuelsson has non-displaced fractured finger. Out minimum 2 weeks.
It has been a nightmare return to the Red Wings for Samuelsson he missed 12 of the Wings first 14 games with a groin injury. Once he returned he played in one game before fracturing his finger in practice yesterday and will now be out of the lineup for at least two weeks.

Patrick Eaves will replace Samuelsson in the Red Wings lineup. Samuelsson won't be fantasy relevant until he can prove he can stay healthy.

Mikael Samuelsson a go tonight, too, when Wings face Minnesota.
Samuelsson has only played in 2 games this year. He will be back in the lineup tonight for the Red Wings. He is not a great fantasy option but with all the Wings injuries he could get some extra chances to shine.

Samuelsson still on ice. Good sign his groin may no longer be an issue.
Samuelsson has only appeared in 2 games this season for the Red WIngs and hasn't played since Jamuary 21st. The Red Wings finally got some secondary scoring yesterday against the Blues and Samuelsson's return will only help that cause.

Mikael Samuelsson back on ice after missing a couple days with tender groin.
Samuelsson needs to stay healthy to be a quality fantasy player. He's expected to play top-6 minutes in Detroit so he could be a solid producer for the bottom of your fantasy roster.
