The bad news is that right wing Dana Tyrell could be out for a significant amount of time with what is believed a right knee injury. Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman is expected to give a report during tonight's game with the Blue Jackets.

Tyrell figures to play on the team's checking line, drawing in and out of the lineup. He scored four goals and nine points in 18 games with the Norfolk Admirals but won't hold any fantasy hockey value.

The Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday reduced its roster to the maximum 23 players, deciding to keep junior-eligible right wing Brett Connolly and sending wing Dana Tyrell to the minors.
No immediate fantasy hockey value in the AHL.

Brett Connolly, Mattias Ritola, Cory Conacher, Dana Tyrell and Carter Ashton are all in the lineup for a second or third consecutive game which will go a long way for the Tampa Bay brass in figuring out the large cuts that are expected Sunday.
Tyrell played a checking line role last season with Tampa Bay, fitting in with Adam Hall and Nate Thompson. In 78 games he scored six goals and 15 points. Expect him to play a checking line role again for the Bolts this year.
