Looks like Colaiacovo might be in tonight in place of Lashoff.
Colaiacovo has been hampered by injuries this season and only appeared in six games with the Red Wings and two games with Grand Rapids (AHL). He only recorded one assist in the six games with the Wings this season. He will enter the lineup in a crucial Game 6, the Wings hope he won't have any rust.

Carlo Colaiacovo and Brian Lashoff also are scratched, to make room for Kyle Quincey (back after missing nine games with a fractured cheek bone), Ian White and Danny DeKeyser, who'll make his NHL debut.
Colaiacovo was a minus-4 in his first two games back from injury.

Carlo Colaiacovo is ready to play.
Colaiacovo will likely dress in just his third game as a Red Wing tomorrow vs. Colorado. He has not played since the second game of the season because of a shoulder injury. When he is healthy he usually produces on a fairly consistent basis, however staying healthy has been a big issue for him throughout the years.

Wings assigned Carlo Colaiacovo to Grand Rapids for conditioning stint. He still counts toward their 23-man roster.
Colaiacovo has been out since the second game of the season. If he is healthy he can produce, but that that is a BIG if.

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo is at last ready to make a third appearance.
Colaiacovo was removed from injured reserve today, about two months after a shoulder injury landed him there following the Jan. 21 game at Columbus. Colaiacovo has the ability to put up points but is always an injury risk.

Colaiacovo has only played in two games this season and has had a very difficult time staying healthy in his career. He isn't a good fantasy option simply because he can't stay in the lineup.

Colaiacovo has had trouble in his career staying healthy, so there is no real surprise here. He hasn't played more that 67 games in his career. Colaiacovo could be a reliable fantasy option if he ever stayed healthy... until then stay away.
