Meanwhile, according to the AHL transactions page, the Sharks have recalled defenseman Justin Braun. Braun, who was reassigned to Worcester last Tuesday, has played in 10 games this season with one assist.
Expect Braun to draw back into the lineup now that Douglass Murray has been ruled out of tomorrow's game.
By all indications, Bruan will sit while Demers will be paired with White even though Todd McLellan would not confirm anything.
Braun has found his way into eight consecutive games but sits tonight. He has only posted an assist despite playing a healthy amount of minutes which limits his fantasy hockey value.
Braun played in 29 games last season with the Sharks, producing two goals and 11 points. He likely serves as depth should the team need to rest Colin White or not dress 12 forwards.
If you’ve been following the Twitter traffic, you already know the Sharks have assigned Justin Braun, Benn Ferriero and John McCarthy to Worcester today.
No immediate fantasy hockey relevance while in the AHL.
