The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed forward Joe Vitale to a two-year contract extension, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Look for Vitale to center the third or fourth line for the next two years. He has three goals and 10 points through 44 games.

Looks like Vitale is replacing Crosby between Dupuis and Kunitz.
The troika goes from the top line to the third line with Crosby out. Expect Vitale to play a solid, two-way game but not to effect the box score.
