Michalek could replace the injured Deryk Engelland. Despite playing only 14 games, the Czech defender has blocked a whopping 33 shots -- 11 less than the team lead.

Michalek has headaches, passed baseline test but being cautious.
Michalek is expected to sit out the next two games. He will be reevaluated when the team gets back to Pittsburgh.

It's been pointed out that Michalek left the Montreal game early, before Letang was injured. Why, nobody is saying.
Sounds like Michalek will also miss tonight's tilt. The shot-blocking machine is a rugged defender but has trouble staying on the ice.

Michalek returns to the lineup and should play a top four role for the Pens. This current configuration may be the healthiest this team has been in the 2011 calendar year.

Stepping back onto the ice is a positive sign that he will return shortly. The Czech defenseman has only played in 10 of the team's 18 games, registering a goal and three points.
