Michalek has missed the past three games and definitely won't play Thursday or Friday. His 19 goals are still tops on the team and are one behind Steven Stamkos for the team lead.

Doesn't sound like the Sens will be rushing their star winger back into the lineup. The Czech winger is not eligible to play until next Tuesday but probably misses every game through Christmas.

No news to report on Milan Michalek today. He remains day-to-day, but has not skated since suffering the concussion.
Definitely a good sign for the scoring winger. Expect him to get back on the ice within a week if his symptoms remain dormant.

MacLean confirms Milan Michalek has a concussion; team will now follow NHL protocol for concussion.
Awful news for the Sens, who lose their top goal scorer. The Czech winger currently leads the entire NHL with 19 goals.

Milan Michalek heading out to skate today, so last night's injury does not appear to be serious.
Michalek is expected to play on the top line this season. The Czech winger has struggled to stay healthy but looks to turn that around in his third year with the Sens. At 26, Michalek certainly has more left in the tank with the potential to pot 25+ goals.
