Prust moves off the Richards line to play with Brian Boyle. The pugilist has two goals and 13 points with 102 PIM.

Prust moves up to the third line. In addition to his 76 PIM, he also has registered two goals and 10 points. Not a bad option for managers who need penalty minutes.

Prust moves up to the second line. The London, Ont., native has two goals and nine points with 76 PIM. Should he stay on a scoring line, he would be a nice bench play in standard leagues.

Brandon Prust needed some medical attention at the end of the second period after getting his right pinkie mashed. Prust had an in-game X-ray but it turned up negative and he returned for the third period, nearly double his ice time from the first two periods and finishing with 8:38.
Prust is certainly OK after returning to the game. The checking line winger scored two goals and five points through 18 games while adding 33 PIM. Keep him in your lineup and start him with confidence.

Although Brandon Prust left optional skate early, he just told me he's fine and will play
Prust very rarely takes games off but may need some maintenance due to cumulative bumps and bruises. He scored two goals and four points over 11 games while adding 26 PIM. Look for another season of roughly 30 points and 150+ PIM.

Brandon Prust, who was held out of the three North American preseason games as he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery, will make his preseason debut today when the Rangers face HC Sparta in Prague, Czech Republic.
Prust playing tonight indicates he will be healthy for the season opener next week. Last season he established himself as a hard-working, bottom-line player by scoring 13 goals and 29 points. Expect similar production should he stay on the ice.

It appears likely he’ll be held out of all training camp scrimmages as a precautionary measure after he underwent offseason shoulder surgery 41/2 months ago.
As an integral part of the team's identity and PK, they likely will let him rest in the early going. Prust played through a variety of injuries last season, so expect him to gut through a sore shoulder.

The Rangers announced today that defenseman Dan Girardi had undergone successful surgery to repair an inguinal hernia while right wing Brandon Prust had successful surgery to repair a labral tear in his left shoulder.
