Eminger should return shortly after the break. Before getting hurt he scored two goals and four points in 30 games. Look for him to round out the third pairing.

Eminger not ready until at least after All-Star break #NYR
Getting back on the ice is at least a good sign for the team. When he gets back, expect the veteran to push Anton Stralman or Stu Bickel out of the lineup.

Eminger out 8/10 weeks.
Eminger separated his shoulder during Saturday's game and won't play until February. The Rangers are looking at Stu Bickel at that position first but may need to seek outside help.

Defenseman Steve Eminger left Jobing.com Arena with his right arm in a sling after his right shoulder was separated at 3:16 of the second period when the Coyotes’ Martin Hanzal drove him into the backboards in the Rangers’ zone.
Eminger has been one of the more stable defenders and will be the third d-man to hit the injured list. Expect rookie Tim Erixon to take his place in the lineup.
