Ullstrom likely plays on one of the top three forward lines. The Jonkoping, Sweden native scored 12 goals in 17 games at the AHL level and could add some offensive firepower to a punchless lineup.

The New York Islanders announced today that forward David Ullstrom has been recalled from loan from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
Ullstrom scored 12 goals and 14 points in 17 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He could add some spark to a struggling Islanders team.
