The Wild have reassigned Gustav Olofsson to Iowa (AHL).
Olofsson has appeared in the last three games and 13 NHL games overall during his time with the big club. His return to the AHL suggests that Christian Folin will return to the Wild lineup this weekend.
The Lightning have recalled Slater Koekkoek from Syracuse (AHL).
Koekkoek, 23, has split his season between the AHL and NHL. He has four assists in 29 games with the Lighting and 11 points (2G / 9A) in 38 games with the Crunch. He has been recalled because Jason Garrison was forced from last night’s game with an injury.
The Capitals have recalled Paul Carey from Hershey (AHL).
Carey has been recalled to serve as an extra forward during the Capitals’ upcoming road trip. The 28-year-old has had a great season in Hershey, having collected 24 goals and 31 assists (55 points) in 55 games this season. He hasn’t been able to translate that into NHL success—he has just two points (1G / 1A) in 30 career NHL games.
The Coyotes have recalled Christian Fischer from Tucson (AHL).
Fischer, 19, has had a strong year in Tucson, collecting 19 goals and 24 assists (43 points) in 51 games this season. He scored two goals in three games with the Coyotes earlier in the year and could draw into the lineup tonight.
The Red Wings have recalled Ben Street from Grand Rapids (AHL) under emergency conditions.
Street could make his Red Wings debut on Tuesday after being called up from Grand Rapids, where he has 23 goals and 28 assists (51 points) in 57 games. Frans Nielsen was banged up in last night’s game vs. the Sabres, so Street will likely play if Nielsen isn’t able to go tonight.
